As teenagers grow, their body is changing. Middle School is the perfect time to start building habits towards healthy body hygiene. "Sweaty Sock Syndrome" is real, people! Eww...we aren't joking! In this month's newsletter, we challenge you to talk to your child about taking care of their body. Take time to talk to them about eating healthy food, exercising, showering and taking care of their teeth, hair and nails. Things to talk about with your child... Can you still be active and have fun outdoors when the temperature drops?  YES YOU CAN! We as Minnesotans are hardy people and can thrive in the bitter cold but we also must make sure we are safe. Conditions at times can be icy and wind chills can become dangerous but this should not limit us getting outside and being active. Knowing when it is safe for your students to be outside and when it is not is a great lesson to teach. Then, encourage your children to get outside and have some fun while being active!! Chall
